A new old stock flatweave rug or wall hanging, made in the 1970s. Likely by Eva Nemeth — this collection of rugs came with several other Eva Nemeth flatweaves that had her initials, but this one is unsigned. All wool, 45 x 20 inches (not including fringes). Reversible. As new condition.
This weaving is part of a trove of Danish Rya rugs that were imported into the US in the late 1970s, stored in a warehouse, and never sold until the original owner's family decided to sell them this year.
